These activities are open to all youngsters. The age restrictions are a guideline and we ask parent/carers to use their discretion. If you are unsure whether a session is suitable please email admin@outsideofthebox.uk. Generally the daytime activities will by default be attended by those not in school be that through choice (Home Ed), because a school has not been able to meet their needs or not being able to find a suitable placement. We are registered as a Alternative Provider with Hertfordshire County Council SEN department meaning our sessions can be part of an EOTAS Package and or Personal Budget. We hope to be on Cambridgeshire’s Alternative Provider Directory in the near future – we are currently going through their approval process.
Our activities are suitable for all abilities. If the person you are booking for has additional needs please ensure details are included when booking so we are able to support them effectively.
For those under 8 years old a parent/carer is required to stay on site. Over 8’s can be left for the session but we do ask parents to use their discretion when deciding if this is appropriate. We have a sofa area for those that are staying onsite. We are also situated between The Banyers and Weatherspoons and you wish to take the opportunity for some time out (if your child is over 8).
